1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rowlogy ("Service"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Rowlogy is a UK-based platform allowing users to create, store, and share JSON data via a web interface and API.
3. Eligibility
- Users must be capable of forming binding contracts in their jurisdiction.
- No strict age limits, but users under 13 must have parental consent (see Privacy Policy).
4. User Accounts
- Sign-in Required: Access full features via Google/GitHub.
- Account Security: You are responsible for all activities under your account.
5. API Usage
- Authentication: API access requires a valid API key.
- Rate Limits: 1,000 requests/day/user. Excessive usage may result in throttling.
6. User Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of uploaded JSON data. By using the Service, you grant Rowlogy a non-exclusive license to host and display it.
- Restrictions: You must own or have rights to all uploaded content. Prohibited content includes:
- Illegal, confidential, or copyrighted material without permission.
- Hate speech, harassment, or exploitative content.
- Privacy Controls: JSONs can be set to public or private.
7. Moderation & Takedowns
- Reporting: Flag abusive content via
takedown@rowlogy.com. - Action: Rowlogy may remove violating content without prior notice.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
- Scrape data, overload servers, or bypass security measures.
- Upload malware or spam.
9. Data Deletion
- User Control: Delete individual JSONs or accounts via
account@rowlogy.com. - Retention: Data is permanently erased within 30 days of deletion.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, reliability, or uptime.
11. Limitation of Liability
Rowlogy is not liable for:
- Data loss, service interruptions, or unauthorized access.
- User misconduct or third-party claims arising from your content.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Rowlogy against legal costs/damages resulting from your misuse of the Service.
13. Dispute Resolution
- Mediation: Disputes will first attempt resolution via mediation under UK law.
- Jurisdiction: Unresolved disputes will be settled in UK courts.
14. Changes to Terms
Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
